Established in 2010 by renowned UK Hypnotherapist Sheila Granger, The Virtual Gastric Band is a psychology-based hypnotic weight loss program, designed to simply and radically change how you think about food.
The Virtual Gastric Band is NOT a diet and does NOT involve food deprivation.

This Hypnotherapy program lets you get back in touch with your body's natural cues, something that can be lost after years of dieting and restricting certain food groups. It highlights any unhelpful food associations and empowers you to make small, realistic changes that you can live with easily. The Virtual Gastric Band alters your responses to food and encourages you to be satisfied on smaller portions.
The hypnosis will address issues that have perhaps de-railed weight loss in the past, including snacking, and comfort eating.
The new habits you will develop mean you can be free from thinking about food all of the time and will enable you to enjoy the food you do eat so much more!

*This intervention is delivered through four sessions, the first three being a week apart, to change your mindset on food and reinforce long-term behaviour change, including smaller portions and regular exercise.
*You will receive a recording at the start of the program to listen to everyday alongside attending the sessions. At the end of the program you will receive another recording that's been made and tailored just for you, to help you continue your journey.
Although there are some guidelines that you agree to follow which greatly increase the chance of your success, there are no restrictions around what you can eat, unlike many diets. You can eat whatever you like!
